			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The Shults-Lewis Child and Family Services Board of Trustees has begun a search for a new Executive Director.  We are sorry to announce Ray Crowder will be leaving us.  He will continue his service to God and children in Texas.  We will miss him greatly, but wish him and his work all the best.</p>
<p>We would like to ask you to help us identify the person God has planned to lead the great mission of serving children.  Please spread the word and tell people you know who are qualified and might be interested in such a mission.</p>
<p>Even though the Board reserves the right to amend these, the minimum requirements are as follows:<br />
.  faithful member of the Church of Christ<br />
.  strong passion for the mission of Shults-Lewis<br />
.  bachelor degree in human service field or administration, business, or a related field<br />
.  at least seven years work experience in a leadership role<br />
.  at least two years associated with a human services agency or organization<br />
.  leadership, management, and communication skills<br />
.  strong public communication skills<br />
.  ability to deal with uncertainty and stressful situations<br />
.  good understanding of financial liability and management<br />
.  ability to raise operating and endowment funds</p>

Press Release:  June 6, 2011  &#8212;-   The board of<br />
directors of Cherokee Home for Children recently appointed<br />
Delton McGuire as Executive Director. This appointment<br />
follows Delton’s eight years at the home as chief<br />
development officer. He has spent the last twenty years in<br />
Christian education and child care. This includes<br />
development and childcare responsibilities at four other<br />
brotherhood homes as well as Cal Farley’s Boy’s Ranch.<br />
McGuire assumed the position vacated by the January, 2011,<br />
death of former director, Danny Duggan. McGuire has been<br />
serving as Acting Executive Director since January.</p>

<p align="left">Kevin McDonald, President &amp; Chief Executive Officer of Arms of Hope Youth &amp; Family Solutions (AOH), announced today the appointment of Joe Brazell to the position of President &amp; Executive Director of Boles Children’s Home (BCH), a leader in child care and family services for over 84 years.</p>
<p align="left">McDonald said that, in this position, Mr. Brazell will oversee and direct BCH’s daily operations of all programs including Residential Child Care, Mother-Child “Together Program” and Emergency Shelter and Assessment Center.</p>
<p align="left">Brazell brings more than 20 years of management experience to BCH. He most recently served as Planning and Analysis Manager for Refinery Operations at Valero Energy Corporation in San Antonio, Texas. Brazell has also served on the board of directors of Medina Children’s Home, another Arms of Hope ministry, since 2004. McDonald said, “We are indeed fortunate to have Joe accept this very important position. He brings not only his varied management and business experience to Boles Children’s Home but also a passion and heart for the mission of Arms of Hope. I have known and served with Joe for a number of years and am so pleased to have a person of his characterand ability in this critical role.”</p>
