EAP is Equine-Assisted Psychotherapy, which simply refers to the fact that horses are used as an aide to work with youth and teens with emotional and behavioral problems. Residents of Children’s Homes receive the experiential learning that comes from working with horses. The children learn a variety of skills that can be transferred over into[.....]
We’re getting closer to our 2011 Change for Children goal Our 2011 Change for Children goal is $235,000. That’s our highest goal in the campaign’s 25-year history, and it’s 11 percent higher than last year’s Change for Children total. As of today, we’re at 63% of that goal!
