July, 16, 2010 CCFSA held it’s fourth web based prayer session with Dr. Harold Shank. If you missed the session, you can read the prayer by going to the CCFSA web site, clicking on members, and then forum. Sally Shank has posted yesterday’s “father prayer”. The previous three prayers may also be read.

The CCFSA Annual Conference will be held March 6-9, 2011 at Renaissance Oklahoma City Convention Center Hotel, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Web-based prayer meeting with CCFSA National Spokesman, Dr. Harold Shank is scheduled for July, 15, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. Central Time. You will receive an email invitation (DimDim) on Monday July 12th. Return to that email on the 15th and click on “join meeting”. You will be connected to the prayer session. You are encouraged to bring you staff together for this time of prayer.

Mrs. Coley is a Social Worker at the Christian Home and Bible School in Mt. Dora, Florida, where she works with children who are in great need. She has a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Florida A & M University and a master’s degree in Human Services from Nova University. She is an accomplished author, song writer, and presenter. Her greatest ambition in life is to reach her appointed and purchased place of inheritance in Heaven, and to be forever with God who loves her the most.

For visitors, we hope this information provides you easy access to news and information about our member associations and our organization. If you are part of an agency that could benefit from being a member of CCFSA this web site is just one example of the benefits of membership. Click here for more info on CCFSA.

For members, we hope you will find the resources and community that this web site can provide valuable.

If you work for an organization that is a member of CCFSA then you can access these resources. All you have to do is click on the Members tab on the right end of the menu bar at the top of the page and you will see the login page. If you don’t have a user name and password for this site then click the register link to start your registration for an online account. Once your account is approved (you will get an email) then you can log in to access the rest of the site.

The members only section provides access to:

Articles – Articles on topics of interest to all child care professionals
Job Postings – Info on jobs available
Internet Resources – links to other resources on the Internet
Forums – A place to ask questions, get answers, and have discussions on lots of topics
Presentations – recordings of past CCFSA conferences

All of these can be of great value to you and the other members of CCFSA if we all contribute. If you have an article or link to add send it to content@ccfsa.org. You can also participate in the forums by asking and answering questions.

Tennessee Children’s Home Celebrates 100 Years

Tennesse Children’s Home, Inc.is pleased to host the CCFSA Conference this year. It so happens that we are celebrating our 100th year anniversary this year. We have reserved the Franklin Marriott Hotel in Cool Springs, about 15 miles north of our campus. We will hold our annual Middle Tennessee benefit dinner on Thursday night, October 8 (the night before people start arriving for the CCFSA Conference). We are pleased that Harold Shank has agreed to be our featured speaker. We have also reserved the hotel for the Conference, arriving on October 9 (Friday) and going through October 12 (Monday).

Middle Tennessee is beautiful with rolling hills and is rich in history. Antebellum mansions
dot the countryside, and we have one of those right on our campus which will be available for a tour. We are considering some themes which will address current and future trends in child care, while remembering our core values and mission.
