CCFSA member agencies strive to meet the needs of children and their families. Services are broad and reflect the most immediate needs of the local communities in which they operate.

Serving Children and Families Across the United States

How we love to sing that old song that includes the line “little ones to Him belong.” It emphatically states our belief that children are gifts from God.

And they are. But do all the little ones belong to God? How can they belong to Him if no one has introduced Him to them?

The Christian Child and Family Services Association (CCFSA) is made up of 47 licensed, nonprofit agencies across the nation supported by the churches of Christ, who serve children and families in need. The children they serve may have no other opportunity to know Jesus.

"Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”

God planned for families to be a child’s first experience of the kind of love He demonstrates to His children. When children are mistreated by the very ones who should love them most, they grow up with a distorted picture of God. When the only time they hear God’s name is in curses and profanity, they have no idea of who He is or that He longs to have a relationship with them.

Agencies of the CCFSA address the needs of children and families through the following services.

  Residential childcare and treatment services

  Family foster care

  Adoptions, domestic and international

  Family, marriage and individual counseling

  Maternity care services

  Crisis pregnancy counseling

  Emergency shelters

  Educational schools, K-12

  Independent living programs

  Family life enrichment
