Westview Boys’ Home Plans Mission to Honduras
This summer Jason Roark, part of Westview’s exceptional house parent team, is helping two of our young men have an extraordinary mission trip experience.
Okemah Barr and Kievan Young will be traveling with Jason to Tegucigalpa, Honduras. The trio will be serving with fellow members of the Childress Church of Christ to serve the poor and needy among the poverty-stricken population of Honduras.
Last summer Jason traveled to Honduras to evaluate that experience as a possibility for the young men at Westview. When he returned, Jason and the administrative team agreed that this was exactly the kind of growth experience that would be good for our more mature young men.
Okemah and Kievan have sent for their passports and are in the process of raising funds to pay for this wonderful learning experience.
