Georgia Agape Celebration Banquet – September 27, 2012

Thomas N. Bristow, Sr. our Featured Speaker. One of the Famed “Tuskegee Airmen”
With the movie “Red Tails” this year, we are all more aware of how the Tuskegee Airmen sacrificed for our country and changed who we are as a nation. They fought two wars – one against a military enemy force overseas and another one against racism at home.
We are pleased to have Thomas N. Bristow, Sr., one of the Documented Original Tuskegee Airmen (DOTA), come and speak at our Celebration Banquet this year. He will share his story which is sure to challenge us and inspire us! Mr. Bristow entered the Army Air Corps in 1946 and completed training in Aircraft Sheet metal and as a Fuel Cell Specialist. He was assigned to the 477th Anti-Aircraft which was later divided into three fighter groups. He also served under the legendary Col. Benjamin O. Davis. He is often chosen as a spokesperson for the Tuskegee Airmen in this part of the country.
Our banquets are always filled with great fellowship, delicious food and a fun and inspirational program which will include a video presentation on our work. We encourage all who are interested in our ministry to come! It is scheduled for Thursday evening, September 27th and will be held at the beautiful Westin Atlanta Perimeter North at 7:00 p.m. Thanks to underwriting, ticket prices will remain at $30.00 per person. To make your reservations, call the Agape office 770-452-9995.
