Ulysses,

I am the one who posts the job openings for CCFSA but I do not have anything to do with the details each agency is looking for. My suggestion to you is to call or go to the web site of Childplace in Jeffersonville, Indiana to get the information you need. You can call them at 812-282-8248. Their web site is www.childplace.org. Hopefully you can find out all the information you need and then move forward. I hope this will help you.

Greeting in the Lord. I am interested in learning more about this position but with extreme discretion since I am in a current ministry.I have a alot of experience in houseparenting and pulpit ministry work. Does this position require male or female person and is housing provided.

Karen,

You will need to contact Childhaven, not me. I am the public relations director for all the child care agencies. I post their needs, events, news etc. but do not work directly with them individually. You can call Childhaven at 256-734-6720 or email them at chldhvn@hiwaay.net. The will be able to direct you. Thank you for your interest.

I have listened to Harold share most, if not all, of these articles in various presentations. I have appreciated his unique perspective and the application to the plight of children in our world today - the very children we work with daily in our foster homes and campus settings. However, today I read these articles from the perspective of a father whose own child has rebelled and rejected the family and the values we worked to implant to make life more manageable and joyful. Harold's message reads differently when it is this personal. When the face of the child who is in trouble is the face you have cuddled, nurtured, protected and loved intensely, Hosea's story becomes deeper, harder and far more intense.

Thank you Harold for illuminating G-d's word in this very real and personal way! Hopefully many will find access to these articles and open their hearts to the needs of the fatherless child.
