The run was held Saturday June 19th 2010 on Shelter Island. It was the 31st Shelter Island Run. It was a fundraiser for Timothy Hill Children’s Ranch East end Hospice, and the Shelter Island community fund. The feature runners were Olympic Gold Medalist Joan Benoit Samuelson and four time N Y Marathon winner Bill Rodgers.[.....]

With over 200 participants and more than 30 volunteeers CSO far surpassed their goal for the first year. Special thanks to the Lakehoma Church of Christ for sending 50 participants.
