Agape’s Kristee Bell recently was reappointed by Governor Phil Bredesen to serve on the State of Tennessee’s Workforce Development Board. Bell is the Director of the Powerlines Community Network for Agape Child & Family Services. The run was held Saturday June 19th 2010 on Shelter Island. It was the 31st Shelter Island Run. It was a fundraiser for Timothy Hill Children’s Ranch East end Hospice, and the Shelter Island community fund. The feature runners were Olympic Gold Medalist Joan Benoit Samuelson and four time N Y Marathon winner Bill Rodgers.[.....]

With over 200 participants and more than 30 volunteeers CSO far surpassed their goal for the first year. Special thanks to the Lakehoma Church of Christ for sending 50 participants. Junior League of Memphis recently donated $15,000 to Agape Child & Family Services to serve the children in their Kids in Transition (KIT) Program.
