Mark your calendars for the annual Gala and Auction at Mid-WEstern. The date has been set for Friday, February10, 2010 and will be hld again at the RSVP Reception facility in Cincinnati. On the evening of Saturday, November 5, Agape Child & Family Services hosted its annual Hearlight event, themed “Extraordinatory”. This year’s event featured Ron Hall, who is the co-author of the best-seller Same Kind of Different as Me, a novel that explores his life-changing journey with a homeless man, Denver Moore and their unforeseen “Extra-Ordinary” relationship that transformed both of them. Their true story, which Samuel L. Jackson will star in and be produced as a movie by Disney in 2012, epitomizes Agape’s desire to connect people in Memphis in mutual relationships that transform all, and glorify God. The Oklahoma Christian Women’s Basketball team will hold a diaper drive for Christian Services of Oklahoma at their upcoming game on December 3rd at 1 p.m. The game, versus Oklahoma Baptist University, will be held at the Eagles’ Nest on the campus of Oklahoma Christian in Edmond. Anyone bringing diapers, wipes or new baby items for babies age 0-24 will gain free admission to the game. A table in the lobby will be available with representatives from Christian Services of Oklahoma to help you learn more about how you can make a difference in the life of a foster child. We are also happy to share information about our adoption programs. Special thanks to Coach Stephanie Findley for coordinating this effort. Please join us on December 3rd at the OC Women’s Basketball Game.

Christian Services of Oklahoma is a non profit adoption and foster care agency located in Edmond, OK. The mission of Christian Services of Oklahoma is to provide loving, Christian families for infants and children through private adoption and a foster care program for children in state custody.
