“Intimately acquainted.”
Executive Director of Nashville Agape, Tom Burton, credits CCFSA with allowing him to become intimately acquainted with other people in Christian childcare.
Tom reports that CCFSA provides a unique Christian peer group, with whom he enjoys the best of fellowship, and wonderful experiences. Tom says, “I know that I can pick up the phone and call on these colleagues for a meaningful conversational exchange.”
Because all of the members have such high standards, the presentations and workshops at CCFSA conferences are of the utmost effectiveness.
Burton has especially found help in the work of Harold Shank, the CCFSA National Spokesman. Tom says that both Harold and his wife, Sally, have done wonders because they give it their all, and Harold’s inspirational stories lift people up and fill them with a renewed drive to continue.
At the 2008 conference in Kansas City, Tom especially appreciated the after hours meetings with David North showing them what was possible on a new web page.
