That’s how Executive Director of Mountain States Children’s Home, Longmont, CO, Randy Schow put it when he was asked about the value of his agency’s membership in CCFSA.

 ”Over the last fifteen years, CCFSA has been an invaluable source of information and networking connections at the conferences. ”

When asked about those networking connections, Randy added, “CCFSA provides a means of staying in touch with peers.  These are people who have dedicated their lives to children.”  

Like many in childcare, Randy often feels alone.  “As Mountain States is isolated, my membership in CCFSA provides opportunities to exchange ideas with other directors, not otherwise available.”

“Invaluable” also includes money and services.

“The 2008 conference helped reinforce the importance of visiting donors, enhancing therapeutic services, and it provided information on legal matters regarding child care law suits in other states.”
